Naked Werewolf,   Book 1
Northern ExposureEven in Grundy, Alaska, it’s unusual to find a naked guy with a bear trap clamped to his ankle on your porch. But when said guy turns into a wolf, recent southern transplant Mo Wenstein has no difficulty identifying the problem. Her surly neighbor Cooper Graham—who has been openly critical of Mo’s ability to adapt to life in Alaska—has trouble of his own. Werewolf trouble.

For Cooper, an Alpha in self-imposed exile from his dysfunctional pack, it’s love at first sniff when it comes to Mo. But Cooper has an even more pressing concern on his mind. Several people around Grundy have been the victims of wolf attacks, and since Cooper has no memory of what he gets up to while in werewolf form, he’s worried that he might be the violent canine in question.

If a wolf cries wolf, it makes sense to listen, yet Mo is convinced that Cooper is not the culprit. Except if he’s not responsible, then who is? And when a werewolf falls head over haunches in love with you, what are you supposed to do anyway? The rules of dating just got a whole lot more complicated. . . .

I have mixed emotions about this book, it seems everyone else has liked it a lot and I just felt unmoved by it , I like it but didn’t love it, I waited a few days to see if my opinion change, but I still feel the same way, I guess I’m more of a hard core paranormal, urban fantasy reader/ listener, I like the world in my books the be build up a little more than what the author did in this book, I like more sexual tension between the protagonists and I like  the heroine in the book to act and  to sound her age, unfortunately Mo (the main character in the book) sounded  to me a little immature to be 30 years old.
How to flirt with a Naked Werewolf isn’t packed with action or suspense but is more character based with its share of family drama and werewolf politics. This is the first novel in Molly Harper's new series, and it was a cute, humorous story of a Southern girl who moves to Alaska and discovers an attractive but surly local is the werewolf of her dreams. Written in first person narration, Mo is a likable heroine with a good sense of humor, I liked her even though I’ve mentioned before I found her a little immature, but I gladly overlooked those times for the enjoyment I got out all the great one liners (very funny ones, I can’t wait to use them ....:)
Who I would recommend this too: Chick-lit and PNR readers who like a lighter listen. But if you are a hard core paranormal romance urban fantasy fan I don’t think this one is for you.
In the end I feel, if you don’t take this book too seriously it can be very enjoyable. I should’ve fallowed my own advice.
Amanda Ronconi was just perfect for this book, she made Mo’s character come to life with the exact personality the author intended, she made her sound humorous, flirty and sexy, the delivery of all those great one liners was perfectly done with right amount of sarcasm, she gets a c+ on her male voice’s. I wish more books would start using a male an a female narrator, don’t you?

Molly Harper, YOU ROCK!!! I have listened to each of her books numerous times, and LOVE each of them. I was afraid to start another series, because I just knew it could not be as good as the first. WRONG-O!
I LOVED this book! I laughed so hard at the Baby Beluga story, my husband hushed me! He will never understand.
Thank you, Molly, for giving a nod to our friends back in the Hollow, and I hope we have not heard our last out of Jane!

I know there is another book coming out very soon, and my finger is on the BUY button! As with all of Molly's books, I was let down when it was over, because I knew it would be some time before I could get another one. Excellent guilty pleasure book!!!

Molly Harper is a wonderful writer with a sense of humor that is by far the best around!! I learned while listening to her first book, you can't be drinking anything while listening. I made that mistake and spewed soda out of my nose! I have all for books and can't wait for what she will come up with next. Her characters are "real" and full of life. I hope she continues with these characters as well as Jane and crew. I love how she worked Jane's book store into the book. Molly Harper can't write fast enough for me. If you want to laugh and have a great time, read Molly Harper's work!!

Maybe it was the Shenanigans gift certificate that put her over the edge. When children's librarian and self-professed nice girl Jane Jameson is fired by her beastly boss and handed $25 in potato skins instead of a severance check, she goes on a bender that's sure to become Half Moon Hollow legend. On her way home, she's mistaken for a deer, shot, and left for dead. And thanks to the mysterious stranger she met while chugging neon-colored cocktails, she wakes up with a decidedly unladylike thirst for blood.
Jane is now the latest recipient of a gift basket from the Newly Undead Welcoming Committee, and her life-after-lifestyle is taking some getting used to. Her recently deceased favorite aunt is now her ghostly roommate. She has to fake breathing and endure daytime hours to avoid coming out of the coffin to her family. She's forced to forgo her favorite down-home Southern cooking for bags of O negative. Her relationship with her sexy, mercurial vampire sire keeps running hot and cold. And if all that wasn't enough, it looks like someone in Half Moon Hollow is trying to frame her for a series of vampire murders. What's a nice undead girl to do?

I give it 3 and 1/2 hearts, I really have mixed emotions about this book, the narrator was excellent, she did a good job with the different characters and I really liked Jane,  but there were so many parts in the book that I just rolled my eyes.  I will give the series  another shot, some times the first book to a series is not the best and it gets better with the consecutive books.
This book is more along the lines of Queen Betsy and I thought Queen Betsy's first book was a lot better.

A few years ago if any one had told me i would be reading this sort of book i would have laughed at them.
It started when I found due to health reasons I could not read the fine print most of my beloved books had, so 10 years ago i started on audio books Fantasy and SCI-FI.
Eventually I ran out of the Audio books I wanted to read so I started reading books like True Blood, moved to Feehand and Lynsay Sands and then found this Gem.
This book is a very refreshing take on the Vampire Paranormal Books. I like the humorous take this book takes. It is wonderful romp from beginning to end.
Jane Jameson is a 27 year old librarian who becomes a Vampire because it was either that or die. I found Molly Harper Whites take on a young woman who has her own personal issues come to grips with her new life style as Vampire refreshing.
This is the sort of book you pick up and find that you are suddenly reading the last few words on the last page. It's one of those sort of books.
If you like this Parnormal Fantasy genre then you will love this book.
I cant wait to listen to the next one.

This story had all the elements of a good mystery, but i barely made it through. The story is missing something. The main character is a 'nice girl' with bad girl tendencies and is turned into a vampire. The guy who turned her likes her... they hook up. meh... by the middle of the book you figure out who the villain is and you are just trying to see if the reason behind it has more to it. (It doesn't). I am not going to read the next two books in this series. I am kind of disappointed because this story had potential. Maybe if you haven't read the Sookie Stackhouse novels, you will like it. If you have, you may draw too many similarities between Jane and Sookie. ( Nice southern girl, living alone in an old family home, dating vampires, southern accents and etiquette, tough as nails attitudes etc.)
