Chicago Stars, book 2
By: Susan Elizabeth Phillips
Narrated by: Anna Fields
Length: 11H and 22M
It seems like an easy assignment for an assertive but sweet woman like Gracie Snow: track down her friend, Bobby Denton, a famous ex-jock, and bring him to Heaven (Texas, that is) to shoot a movie. How could he refuse a glamorous offer like that?Easy, if you've got a big ego, a 1957 T-Bird, and prefer cruising the highways for girls. Still, Bobby can't get Gracie, an angel, out of his mind. Why not head to Heaven, raise a little hell, and let Gracie look out for the consequences?

I love every book that this author writes and the narrator is the very best I have ever heard. Great story with wonderful characters fully developed. Had me laughing out loud at times. Wonderful ending as usual.

I waited quite a while to purchase this book because I didn't like the sample and I really didn't expect to enjoy. Maybe because I am from the same region I really enjoyed this story. I have listened to it several times and recommend it. I just wish the narrator would find out how Texans say pecans.
