Hathaways Book 4
By: Lisa Kleypas
Narrated by: Rosanlyn Landor
Length: 9H and 46M
He is everything she wants to avoid….
For two years, Catherine Marks has been a paid companion to the Hathaway sisters—a pleasant position, with one caveat. Her charges’ older brother, Leo Hathaway, is thoroughly exasperating. Cat can hardly believe that their constant arguing could mask a mutual attraction. But when one quarrel ends in a sudden kiss, Cat is shocked at her powerful response—and even more so when Leo proposes a dangerous liaison.
She is not at all what she seems….
Leo must marry and produce an heir within a year to save his family home. Catherine’s respectable demeanor hides a secret that would utterly destroy her. But to Leo, Cat is intriguing and infernally tempting, even to a man resolved never to love again. The danger Cat tried to outrun is about to separate them forever—unless two wary lovers can find a way to banish the shadows and give in to their desires.
I absolutely love every book on this series, I love to read then and I loveee to listen to them, this another winner from Lisa Kleypas, and once again Landor does a fantastic Job with the narration.

Kleypas never disappoints me! Great Narrator and story. I have to admit I am in love with the Hathaways and truly enjoy Kleypas' writting style. Worth every minute of my time. Hope you like it as much as I did.

Leo Hathaway, aka reluctant Lord Ramsey, is my favorite character in the Hathaway series and the book features him. This is the fourth book in the series. His dialogue with Katherine Marks or anyone always leaves me laughing. As a confirmed bachelor he has met his match with "Marks". Their relationship starts with constant banter to loving passion. Katherine Mark's family history is exposed and her own childhood trauma. The Hathaways are a compassionate and very eccentric family...so there are always side stories about the amuzing family (a good reason to read in order). It is a great story of how opposites attract, and really so much more. The setting is in London and Hampshire, England 1850s. The narration is superb! Highly recommend this book, this series.
